Michaelis Construction was established in 2016 when Harrison Michaelis started as a sole trader, driven by his passion for carpentry and the joy of working outdoors.

“From the age of 15, I knew I wanted to be in the construction industry after experiencing the satisfaction of hands-on learning during work experience. After completing my apprenticeship, I took the leap and established my own carpentry business, with a focus on residential projects, particularly high-end and architecturally designed homes.

As they continued to grow, Harrison took the opportunity to work as a site supervisor under an esteemed architectural builder on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula. This invaluable experience further honed his skills and vision for excellence. Subsequently, he obtained a DB-U license as a builder, expanding his capabilities and commitment to delivering top-notch construction services.

Their journey didn't stop there. In 2016 Michaelis Construction was established and they ventured into the commercial carpentry sector, bridging the gap between residential and commercial expertise. Simultaneously, they pursued their own residential developments, ensuring that their passion for crafting beautiful spaces remained at the heart of all their endeavours.

Today, we proudly oversee a skilled carpentry crew of 12 to 20 individuals, each dedicated to delivering exceptional results on every project we undertake.

Their DB-U license is a testament to their professionalism and commitment to maintaining the highest standards in the industry.
